After completing medical school Dr. Soria has held multiple academic positions, including: Clinical instructor in neurology, SUNY at Buffalo, New York, Clinical Assistant professor of Neurology, SUNY at Buffalo, New York, Lecturer of neurology, university of Louisville, KY, associate professor of neurology, university of Louisville, KY, In, Director of Sleep Disorders Clinic VAMC, Louisville, KY, In addition to his many academic positions, Dr. Soria has multiple published abstracts in various medical publications, journals and books.

Dr. Soria now dedicates his entire practice to the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. Dr Soria’s team has a singular focus and an integrated approach, which provides continuity of care from initial consultation, testing, and treatment. Our goal is to establish a “long term sleep management relationship with our patients, Diagnosis and treatment are essential to getting our patients back on the road to a good nights sleep” said Dr. Soria.

Brent A. Jacobus, MD

After completing medical school Dr. Jacobus continued his medical career in the United States Air Force. He finished his residency in adult neurology along with a fellowship in sleep medicine and continues to serve both military and private sector patients. He has received several awards including: Defense Health Agency (DHA) for quality improvement project rapid response EEG headset reduces time to determination of non-convulsive status epilepticus at a level 1 trauma center, Best Presentation, University of Texas Health and San Antonio Military Medical Center of Neurology. Research Activities include: Several publications in neurology and sleep medicine with a focus on Trauma Associated Sleep Disorders. Poster Abstracts include: Sleep characteristics in active-duty service members with PDSD, continuous EEG triage protocol seizure detection in hospitalized adults.

Dr. Jacobus will use his unique talents and knowledge of sleep disorders to treat patients using our state-of the art diagnostic capabilities. This includes both full in lab polysomnography studies along with the latest in-home sleep testing devices. He will be available via telemedicine consults beginning June 1, 2023.
